Feed continuously to beef cattle in confinement at 13.33–20 lb to provide 200–300 mg Monensin per head per day. An unlimited supply of clean, fresh water should be available at all times. Contact your AC representative for feeding and management recommendations specific to your operation.
- Type C cattle feed containing 30g or less Monensin sodium per ton shall bear an expiration date of 30 days after the date of manufacture.
- Do not allow horses or other equines access to formulation containing Monensin. Ingestion of Monensin by equines has been fatal. Monensin medicated cattle feed is safe for use in cattle only. Consumption by unapproved species may result in toxic reactions. Do not feed undiluted. Feeding undiluted or mixing errors resulting in high concentrations of Monensin could be fatal to cattle. Must be thoroughly mixed in feeds before use. Do not exceed the levels of Monensin recommended by the feeding directions, as reduced average daily gains may result. A withdrawal time has not been established for pre-ruminating calves. Do not use in calves to be processed for veal.
- This product contains added copper. Do Not Use in feeds for Sheep.
- Follow Label Directions. The addition of higher levels of selenium to feeds containing this product is not permitted.
